Prior it sucks that I'm not gonna be around when you get here. Well actually its not too bad for you cause then you get to ride the S1. I have drill that weekend but i will try to get out of it. I guess thats one upside to having your Dad as a Platoon leader. HAHA Oh yea... Talked to my dad the other day and he was like "You better get that bike back here!" and i was like "why?" and he goes...... "I wanna ride it" HAHA |

WOW... thats all i can say about today. Brian (Stingaroo) and I went for our first ride of the new year and my first ride on the new (to me) S1W. Very Very excellent day. Rode a total of 75 miles. We hit as many twisties as we could and even got chased by a dog, haha. All in all it was an excellent ride |

Damn that dog, I should of wheelied over it!. Scared the crap outta me, I was glad I managed to distract his attention so you could get by ok! It is gorgeous bike, Mike found out why Ferris named his the "Thong". He walked funny for a few minutes after riding. I do have a question. When we bought it off of Danny, he mentioned something about a rear isolator problem with that model/year of Buell. What exactly does he mean? Anybody with any ideas? Mike did most excellent on his first Buell excursion, (we wont mention the driveway incident or the stalling for your sake Mike) and I am looking foward to many rides with him. |

Brian, Dig around in the Tales section about the Buell 20th. Newfie had to replace his isolators on the way back to Newfoundland after bouncing around Detroit for a bit. I think it took him like 5 hours and about $100 worth of parts, just add that to the list of stuff to do this summer. I'm sure we can crank that out pretty easily. I have the service manual for his bike too, I should get him a copy of that. Alex |

Alex So far no problems, but just something to look out for. Thanks for the info Alex, and yeah we have been looking for manuals, and have not been able to find any. If you want to give up yours, or make copies, thats rad.
