Crazy Blue Buell Fool, if you put half the effort into an LSR attempt as you did that post, you would be a shoe in!!! Henrik, I don't think this is the one you are talking about, but what the heck!!

As much as I like the Sachs Beast, it is not a "sit up and beg" Streetfighter. The MV on the other hand, is every bit the Streetfighter. Trouble is, I bet everyone that is fortunate enough to buy one will be wearing "clean cut" leathers and very short hair. Sadly, I belive MV's target market is the wealthy, bring it out on a sunny day, and then only to boulevard cruise, and not for the hard arse biker\greebo urban terrorist of the road ! Anyway, I did spend some time talking to the guy on the Sachs stand, and he told me the Beast had cost hundreds of thousands to build into the prototype we saw, and Sachs may well go into production with it, but maybe that's hype ! By the way Benny, did you spot the cracked frame ? Rocket in England |

No, what I can't understand, and I am currently discussing this on Court's board, is why a company of HD's standing, cannot or will not open there eyes to the world around them. Sure the cruiser market is a wonderful place, if that's your bag, and looking at the number of folks who are queing up to buy Harley products, and not just their bikes, they seem not to be able to put a foot wrong, and good luck to 'em, but hey, to some of us, me included, they're just bloody ignorant ! HD buy Buell, and give us a Blast. I don't really care if this is EB's vision of the motorcycling future, nor wether Harley agree with him, fact is, that pesky little machine is aimed directly at making huge amounts of profit because for the most, the folks that buy it will not be "die hard" bikers, rather, 2.4 kids and a Suburban in the drive and an excess of wealth to spend. I much prefer Buell to build high performance machines, fit for the people who support motorcycling as a lifestyle rather than sell out to the yuppies. Here's a great example of what EB should turn his tallent towards, Rocket in England |

Welcome to the crew Sandra. I doubt you need us to give you the "you'll grow to love you Buell" speech. From that lean angle it seems as if you appreciate it already. |
