bart, i feel really really bad right now and have ran fever 102+ all day thanks to the Mil shots I have gotten... Not fun at all.. I would like to drug myself up like i did today to get by but not while I riding the way i ride...Like you said many many more... I like Hot chicks.... Take it to East side in the back if you are in dyer need, just make sure you have your hub tool with you for the change. They do not have it... David, bummer about your health, is it something from all the shots they give you before you go overseas? Are you still leaving on the 27th? that kind of takes the wind out of the sails for this ride as I wanted your last weekend in the states to be enjoyable. Wycked, Your going to firebird? Are you going to hook up with Charlieboy? I believe he is up from Yuma for that. I'm not sure if I'm coming up now, if nobody else is. I'll be up in Phoenix on Tuesday though, and can bring the disk then. Maybe I can get AL to roll out his new S2 and go for a ride to Tombstone or something... (hint, hint) | ||

Nothing worse than sitting here knowing the curves are waiting but not being able to do anything about it! David can't go cuz he's sick and I can't go cuz my bike is sick. It just kills me that I thought I had ordered my tires early enough to have both of them before the 207's got shot....Oh well live and learn. Hope some of you get some ride time in! | ||

Hi all, Just got back from a week in San Carlos, Mexico. No TV or phone in the rooms, just beach and surf and mariachi sounds coming in through the balcony door. Man it was great, too much fun, way too many Margaritas. Hope to get in touch with you guys this weekend. Thanks for all the understanding guys, I hope whoever did ride had fun and made it home safe. Bart, Yes it is from the shots, you know what smallpox is right...It sucks big time, I woke up at 430 this morning and had to take a cold shower to lower my body temp. I think i just lost all the weight i was trying to gain before i leave on the 27th. But I do have off all but wed. this week. Let me know when you are going to tombstone..... cheers | ||

Bart I was planning on riding to firebird to hook up with Charlieboy and XB9rgrl then ride up to Superior. I got out the lot, and about half way to 17, grabbed a fist full of brake to avoid an idiot going all the way across T-Bird and damn near got tossed it shook so bad. Limped the bike back home, lookes like my rotor is spotted with glazed spots and I think the head bearings have worked loose. I just really didn't feel comfortable trying to ride it that way...I think it was all the stoppies last night for a cute lass...that will teach me to show off...heh...Anyways a couple pics will be forthcoming. Test rode a Ducati monster just to compare...F@ck dat shite! There is no worries of a Ducati pushign my Buell out. No way, not in hell. Got curious and test drove a BMW 1200RS just to see what a "cadillac of touring bikes" would be like...it was like riding a friggin tank. I could see riding it for those long freeway stretches, but don't take an offramp for fun...I need to get the S3 together soon cause it looks like I may have a riding companion for the California coastline and the S3 will handle that just perfect. Oh, I picked up the same Joe Rocket as you and Brian...it was just to damn hard to pass at that price. | ||

I just have NO frickin luck... I drove all the way down to firebird today and got there to sign up for a demo ride... They're all booked up. Damnit... $20 to walk in, get turned down and walk out? At least the lady at the gate gave me (and my girl) my money back. Still used $25 in fuel to get there though. I guess you win a few and you lose a few eh?  No tickets this time... | ||

Wycked, Thanks for the good time and good to meet you! Let's brag now about those Hooters Girls  . Man they had nice ASSets. I was hoping to hook up with others but boy we were all busy this weekend. I spent this eve with a high school friend I grew up with and hadn't seen in a while. I need to get up to Phoenix more often and hit the track! I demoed an XB12R and was pissed the whole time as I was behind a guy who couldn't ride for crap and they don't allow you to pass. Man the whole time, she was just begging me to open her up and I couldn't. I want one though . M1, Sorry we didn't hook up man. There will be other times...  Charlieboy and XB9Rgrl headed out for breakfast after getting signed up for a demo ride.  Get a room...The same pair heading out for the day. It was nice spending time with both of you. Lookign forward to a chance to ride with you both and we will have to make some beach runs up the Cali coast this summer. | ||

Most everyone here is with the I'm going to ride like an idiot on my sportbike crowd. Not that I don't like tricks, just that theres a time and place, you know what I mean. Looks like Pirelli pulled the plug on it's 2 fer deal! I've been patiently waiting for a front tire that may never get here. I've e-mailed Pirelli to find out what the f***, but now I'll probably have to BUY my free front tire! I'll need to get my rear mounted and ride mismatched for a little bit or my bike withdrawals will drive me nuts. This will be the last set of Pirelli's I'll own if I end up paying for the front. They can be the best damn tires I ever own, but if the dog me on the offer I'm done. | ||

I don't blame you... I'm thinking of staying away from both Pirelli AND Metzeler. They shouldn't have generated a deal they couldn't support. I'll almost certainly go with the BT010's. | ||
