After work yesterday, me and Pat hauled ass over to UNC and paid Jim a visit. It was so nice to see him. He's doing quite well. Let's all keep our fingers crossed. The next two weeks might be a bit tough on him.

It's been interesting. I knew it was a tough time to sell, but I guess it's an even tougher time to sell a bike with mileage and some road rash. Apparently not everyone considers it the wunderbike that I do. : )

Right now I'm committed to paying off the Mazda and using whatever is left to go bike shopping. If I can come out of this with no payments and something with two wheels in the garage I'll be a happy camper.

It's in rough shape and has been sitting for quite a while, but it's a really neat bike. It would be a cool bike for someone to buy and restore.

Better act fast, craigslisters are rabid for cheap stuff. I've had several emails about the bike in the past few hours. I've already schedule for two guys to come look at the bike tomorrow and two more on Thursday.

The V65 from that era supposedly got taken out of production because to many people were flipping them. Lot of power and very light in the front end.

DATA POINT:

Drive belt failure on 2008 XB12XT @ 23,273 miles. About the only good thing is that it happened on my way to work this morning rather than this past weekend in the middle of nowhere Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, etc.

Now if I could just find out some info on the G0500.1AKF belt as I'd really like to take the XT to VIR next weekend...
