What's a vacation??? It's been over three years since I have had a non federal holiday off....in fact this is the sixth week in a row since I have had a single full day off... |

Count your blessings. I'm guaranteed 40 hours, but I have to work a lot harder to get it. And the 50+ hours I used to be able to get is long gone. But I count my blessings |

I am on an unpaid furlough day. Thats my story and I am sticking to it! I am at beautiful Silver Lake, the sand dunes in the background are between Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. We take the pontoon boat across the lake and climb the dunes. There is an ORV park on the North side of the dunes and the famous Mac Woods Dune Rides on the south side. The front East side of the dunes is pedistrian foot traffic that goes right through the center of the dunes from Silver Lake to Lake Michigan. When all the "Trunk Slammers" are up the dunes really get crowed and you can hear the ORVs from across the lake. But that is when the peole watching gets better......but I really like the people I am watching right this second.
The little girl hasn't been out of her PJs for two whole days...LOL |

That sounds fun. The Mac Woods dune rides are a hoot. Love that area. |
