http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.asp x?ItemList=Combo.232665 $255 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16814125258 $130 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16820227335 $33 _________ $418USD You'll need a PSU most likely as well... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8 2E16817159079 $40 So that's $458 and you'll be able to run pretty well any game at any resolution you'd like with all the options turned up. The only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head would be ARMAII, Maybe Crysis and there might be another one ... IF you're replacing your monitor... Get a wide screen. Try to get a 24" if you can. The technology they're built on is better than the 22" screens. The difference is in the back lighting. All the 22s will wash out a dark scene at the top and bottom of the screen. |

Because we're on a roll, I thought I'd post up a site that has the glitches for COD4. http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/call-duty-4-glitch es/ |

Thanks M1, I'll check local prices tomorrow. I had been looking at 22" monitors, prices seem to have come down heaps in the last six months, I'll check 24's now too |

I checked local prices, what is $418 in the U.S. is about $660US ($760AUS) here I might do it in stages - new monitor and video card soon, new motherboard and CPU later |

Lemon, if the exchange rates make buying from the states better deal, drop me a note and I can be a middle man. I've shipped a few times to the UK and ended even making a few bucks off the deal |

Aren't there laws about exporting US technology to foreign countries? |

LBJ - I added you. I mostly play Nazi Zombie mode, and on the rare occasion that I play multiplayer vs. I get my ass handed to me on a regular basis but the game is still fun. Nazi Zombies is a lot more fun IMO.. especially when playing with a group of people that you know. It's easier alone though in some levels. I reached round 43 a couple days ago in the 2nd map pack level! |

"Aren't there laws about exporting US technology to foreign countries?" Yep, there's all sorts of laws, and a whole heap of U.S. departments. As far as I understand the laws relate to either military/security technology, or free-trade agreements. It's one of the reasons the U.S. doesn't want us to buy the F-22 to replace our F/A-18's and F-111's. We send you Monaro's and Maloo's, you owe us |

It's generally just for encryption stuff Ft_b. That would mean it's mostly about software. That said... I doubt anyone would take kindly to anyone sending powerful desktop components (especially high end video cards as they're pretty well the most powerful CPU's) to NK... |

Ft_Bstrd, an ATI Radeon videocard designed in Canada, assembled in Singapore, boxed in Taiwan, and then shipped to the US hardly qualifies as US technology |
