Are both front an rear lifters for the chain tension on the camshaft chain the same part number? Anyone have a part book that can comfirm this? thanks |

There is no "lifter" associated with camshaft chain tensioner. I assume you mean the chain tensioner plug? There is only one illustration and list of parts. In other words no designation or difference between front and rear cam drive systems. |

There is a lifter that tensions the chain there are 2 of them .And they are lifters. Its a hydraulic lifter piston that fits inside of the plug hole on the side of the cylinder that pumps up with oil "like A lifter" with a small check valve that tensions the plastic guide.Anyone have the two part numbers or one if there identical? |

It's just referred to as the "chain tensioner assembly" in the parts manual. F0021.1AMA |
