Ramm, don't be so quick to dismiss it. Those aren't twin internal combustion cylinders. Those are 2 particle accelerators pointed at the central flux capacitor expansion chamber. Jeesh man, brush up on your quantum mechanics. |

What's really impressive is how the motor transfers power to the rear wheel through telekenisis. |

2 particle accellerators??...the Cube3(r), with Borg technology has multi-mass poly-dimensional quad-phasic temporal drivers. The temporal drivers allow the all new Cube3(r) rider to start the race...hang out in the pits, flirt with the umbrella girls..and still get to the finish line first. The antigravity generators completely inhibit highsides, lowsides and those troublesome tank slappers...eat your heart out Rossi...the CUBE is here. Britten was beyond engineering! Yes, engineers like to break things when there is something to be learned. Cubing your own is a publicity stunt, not an example of engineering--nothing practical was learned. |

quote: CAA Presents: The Physics of Angels & Demons and Beyond... Date: July 30, 2009 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm EDT Location: Columbia Alumni Center 622 West 113th St (between Broadway and Riverside) General Admission - limited seating. Contact: Info: Click Here to Visit Website. CAA presents The Physics of Angels & Demons and Beyond... Antimatter Bombs, Mini Black Holes, and Extra Dimensions Presented by Experimental Particle Physicist Michael Tuts The recent movie Angels & Demons, based on the novel by Dan Brown, features an antimatter-matter bomb made from antimatter produced and stolen from the CERN laboratory in Switzerland. Is that science fact or fiction? We will use that as a jumping off point to talk about what really goes on at CERN. Parts of the movie were actually filmed at CERN and later this year the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN will start colliding protons at the highest energies ever produced in the laboratory. Antimatter will certainly be created in those collisions, as well as many other possible exciting phenomena such as mini black holes, or evidence for the existence of extra space dimensions (beyond the three we are all familiar with), or the discovery of new particles that may form the dark matter of the universe. We will talk about it in the context of one of the large experiments called ATLAS, which incidentally can be seen in the movie, of which Tuts is a member (together with 2500 physicists from over 35 countries). The ATLAS and other detectors, together with LHC accelerator, is one of the largest scientific experiments ever undertaken, and the results may change our view of the universe we live in. I'm cheering-on the underdog. With CERN's LHC set-back, one of the two teams at FermiLab has a real chance of finding the Higgs Boson before CERN gets back on track. |

Go FERMILAB D-ZERO! Or is it the other collider? I know they are working very hard to get the Higgs before the Euro's do. |

Have any of you thought for a minute that their could be a legal reason that the Blast was axed this way. 1. We know that production of the Blast is not going to be discontinued. 2. Most of the Blasts sold are a product of the Riders Edge program. 3. It's my understanding that to get the best deal on a blast at the dealer level the dealer has to be a Buell dealer. 4. In order to increase Blast sales you need to sell to more dealers Riders Edge programs or better yet have some of the dealers start Riders Edge programs that arn't presently doing so. 5. It almost goes without saying that a dealer running a training program with HoKaSuYa is not the best idea from a sales stand point people always have a soft spot for their first bike. 6. I'm not sure how the dealer franchise agreements are written but I'm sure that a dealer can't sell only part of a line. 7. We could make all Harley dealers Buell dealers. NO we can't that was tried and it still has negative repercussions. 8. This split of the Blast line from the rest of the Buell line probably has to be done in a VERY PUBLIC manner to keep potential legal actions from arising. 9. Watch the total Blast sales 2 years from now will probably increase. |

So, in a single sentence, you're trying to say that this allows non-Buell affiliated HD dealerships to use/repair/sell-off Blasts in relation to or because of RE courses...? |

IIRC someone already posted they'd seen Blasts being used for Rider's Edge at a non-Buell dealership. He may be on to something here. |

To this point, haven't non Buell dealership had to buy them from Buell dealerships? Wouldn't this allow them to get them directly without having to deal with other dealers? |

The recent movie Angels & Demons, based on the novel by Dan Brown, features an antimatter-matter bomb made from antimatter produced and stolen from the CERN laboratory in Switzerland. Is that science fact or fiction? Theoretically, dont you need an extremely powerful magnetic field to contain anti-matter? How does one accomplish that in a portable bomb - haul a generator around with it? |

Midknyte that is pretty much how I see it H-D does have some dealers that would never ever let a Buell grace their show room. By removing Buell from Blast it allows them to set up a training program with a company product and still save face. Wouldn't surprise me that parts won't be coming from Buell in Buell packaging they will just say Blast. |

You know, if that turns out to be true, it could be a big benefit to present Blast riders. They'd be able to walk into ANY Harley dealership and purchase or order parts, unlike the rest of us. |

I think they're already letting rider's edge dealers buy the Blasts without the rest of the Buells. The dealer where I took my class (and bought my Lightning) said they were dropping Buell except for the Blast. I haven't been there since, so I don't know how it turned out. |

And they still won't carry parts for the bike - no change there, order and wait. That's why for stock parts I shop around - have to wait anyway, might as well get the best price! EZ |

My dealer keeps basic things on hand, like carb boots, mirrors, turn signals, oil filters, etc., and they're good about the performance parts. I have no complaints. They try, it's just that Harleys sell better. They still have a 2007 Lightning and 2007 TT on the floor, but they sell the heck out of 1125r/cr and Uly. |

Mike's Famous in Smyrna, Delaware, is not a Buell dealer, however, that's where I buy most of my Blast parts because they do have the Rider's Edge course. Every once in a while, I get someone who tries to tell me they're not a Buell dealer, but then I mention they've already taken hundreds of my dollars. I can understand Erik's point of view. I was talking to a guy about Buells. He didn't really like the way they looked. I asked him which one he was talking about, and he told me he didn't know. There were several in a dealership that he saw. I pulled up the Buell website, and he said, "those are Buells?" He was looking at Blasts. After seeing the rest of the line-up, he's going to be visiting his local dealer to see what he might get... |

Lack of communication? Perhaps, the salespeople were not doing their job, the customer wasn't asking the right questions or any at all - just making assumptions. It's easier to blame an inanimate object than accept responsibility for one's actions. |
