I need to go buy a 12 pt socket to remove the bolts, but I'm not sure of the correct size? It *looks* like it'd be a 1/2" 12pt size? Can anyone confirm? thx |

1/2" 12 pt. Just had mine apart a few weeks ago to repair the spark plug threads. |

I'm a mechanic and if possible I always use 6 point sockets that are stronger and less likely to strip the bolt. The only time I use a 12 point is when there is not enough room to rotate the ratchet to the next click. |

Roy, only a 12 point will fit. 13mm is the same size FYI. |
