Puzzled: Extra fine, wet grit sandpaper and polishing compound.

No need for primer, masking, etc.

Thanks for your service Bigschwerm! My son is deployed (he's infantry as well) and I'm trying to convince him to join the 1125R ranks when he gets back.

Hummm...I'll need to see one of these in the plastic before I pull the trigger. I was really hoping the pods would go away. Yeah I know they protect the bike in a crash, they are designed by the High Priests of Troy, etc, etc. I just don't care for them.

I also like paint instead of the raw plastic too. The plastic scratches too easily and I've got boot scuffs on the pillion cover that won't come out.
