Hello everyone! During a recent episode of driveability problems with my S3- I discovered that the throttle plate shaft on the throttle body had broken at one of the two screws that hold the plate to the shaft. You can imagine how that affected the way the bike ran. I have since repaired that. But I have been wondering if anyone out there may have had the same problem? Bigo, Known problem with fuel inj. tube frame bikes. The new improved replacement #29536-99y is the fix. Mine ran $89 a couple of years ago. |

Mine broke on my early '99 S3 and on my '06 Ulysses. It's all in the Knowledge Vault. DAve |

I was not aware that others had the same problem. I fixed mine myself. Saved nearly $100! |
