ok,so i know im making a bigger deal out of this then what it is....but tonight for the first time in my 3 years of ridding i dropped my bike.. i came to a stop in a gravel parking lot, that the gravel was biggg and very loose. i put my foot down and swoosh!!! there goes my leg and the bike with it! i scratched the right side pod up. and got the clutch cover good. the brake lever has a slight bend in it but yet no scratches.... and there are a few very tiny scratches on the front mirror/turn signal....my question is how much is the pod cuz there doesnt seam to be a right side one on ebay! annnddd i have a rev b clutch cover sitting at the dealer waiting for me because of the clutch weep issue... are they gunna give me shit now because of this? like i said they saw it before the "accident" and its ordered all ready and pretty sure its there alsoif any one has a black right posthey wanna sell pm me! thanks chris (Message edited by rockstarblast1 on July 27, 2009) |

Whoa man, sorry, but your post is a bit hard to follow. Ok. Pod cover itself I think is $55. Dunno about the cover. Someone else could answer that one maybe. |

Dude that sux!!! IIRC, the pod covers are in the $60 range. They shouldn't give you any crap about the cover since they saw it before the drop. |

Now that its day time )it happened at like 9 last night) and being in the light the pod doesn't even look that bad just dirty or somethin. Its not bad but its jus that I kno and I'm mad I let it happened. |

If the dealer is replacing the cover anyway cause of the weep, I don't think they would give you any grief about it being scratched... Let us know. R |

You're just a Buell hater who is imagining things. I bet you don't even ride your bike. The bike would run perfect if you stopped messing it up. You should just be thankful this is covered under warranty. My Porsche and BMW's aren't. Go away. This is a Buell enthusiast board. |

>>> I'm so pissed I know there just giving me the run around. Its total bull crap The folks at Western Reserve Harley-Davidson Buell are some of the best in the country. I have trouble, simply based on what I am reading here, reconciling what you say and what I know to be fact. You need to be talking to the dealer. There is no reason they can't have all those parts in 3 days. The dealer is where you need to be spending your time and effort. |
