Outstanding! Come on the rest of yous! Who's not chipping in? If 2,000 of us chip in just $10, that's $20,000! What's $10??!! Come on people. The site is free. No memberships, no fees, nothing. Well if you enjoy the site, please chip in a ten spot for Ted. Imagine all the pain we can cause him having to write thank you notes to us all. heheheh It'll give him something to do while he's healing up. Don't wait, do it now. Surf over to www.paypal.com and send a tenspot to tedsdreamcatcher@hotmail.com . You WILL be truly blessed for your kindness. Thanks, Blake edited by blake on March 12, 2004 |

$10 is pretty chintzy. Now I dont have $1000 to chuck in, but the $50 I put in sure as hell isnt going to bankrupt me. Come on folks & lets at least attempt to help Ted keep his home. Everyone who claims that $75 for the Buell deal is cheap, how much are you all contributing? |

Fuzzy_Kitty_Boy? LOL...Dyna, I had no idea...or is Blake having fun with your username? It would be kind of cool to know how much we've raised for him, but I'm not interested in how much each person has contributed or even who has, for that matter. Bryan |

Frank You have blow me out of the water. and now a few people here this morning arewatching me get in one of my emotional fits. you wouldn't think a big fat guy named bubba would tear up as freakin easily as I do. I am damn near speechless and as you all know that don't happened much. Justin you will have mail in a few mins. You my friend make a fellow hoosier proud. Long live the cornfield kings!!! all of you have tottally and collectively put me on my ass and I spoke with ted last night thru another person on the phone in the room. and He can not beleive and didn't know any body cared. Now he knows I wasn't lieing when I said he wasn't alone. In fact he was in good spirits last night but complaining about the tubes stuck in his chest, They still haven't taken them out of his lungs. anyway he was in his drug hazy talk that I could hear in the background going "these tubes are bugging me. I said to the person on the phone to say to him "ah quit your belly acheing and pull that tube out of your ass your enjoying it too much" now he don't have a tube in his ass but its just a crass joke and it made him laugh. and thats good enuff for now. He is way greatful to us all and in awe. blake your right....those thank you cards will be a big bitch to write. the transfer to atlanta is postponed til monday so hopefully he'll be up to letting this fat boy in the room on sunday he said he would but you know how a condition can change. so it looks like a road trip over the mountain and thru the woods to see tedley here we go. if you are sending checks make them out to Brian Gardner 242 carderwoody rd statesville,nc 28625 sorry this was the best I could do on short notice and I am one big dumb novice at this donation game but with all your help and here on the home front getting the emails to ted TLSTREAK (jeff) you my friend our testing your wifes sanity.now wait til I soend the night on sunday, she'll divorce ya in an instant. letting this fella in. thanks you everyone. |

the total right now stands at $3863 right now with justins match to frank it will be $4800+ and we are waiting on the checks to hit the mailbox, and there have been quite a few of those I beleive we will make our initial goal. inless than a week the whole motorcycle community has come together on this. all riders of all makes and models. The brotherhood actually does exsist. I can tell you this his parents have been completely taken aback and are starting to understand why Not only TED but everyone of us are in this game of bikes. They have been very speechless and greatful that ted has so much support. all of you have been kind beyond words and In these trying times we have proven that the heart and soul can overcome all the distraction of life and obstickles that it puts up in our face. I don't know about any of you but I feel better in my heart right now than I have in years. Brian I am my brothers keeper |

Just sent my own little bit of help. Does not seem that long ago when I did the same thing for some big fat bald guy with a Cyclone sporting a Harley sticker who was left for dead after a hit and run. Looks like that money could not have been better spent. I don't doubt for a second this money will be just as well invested. Lets buy this guy a house

given some of the name calling, finger pointing, and, ehem, spirited discussions that transpire in this electronic village, one could be surprised at the outpouring of generosity and good will that is taking place here I, for one, am not at all surprised . . .. pleased as hell, and proud to be a small part of the village, but not at all surprised |

When i was still overseas in kuwait after the war, i got a call from home saying my little brother hit a dear on his motorcycle and was in critical. he suffered a large amount of brain trauma and they didnt know when he would wake up. me not being home was killing me. my parents are far from rich, and the hospital bills were tremendous. the good people of our western WI community came through, big time. My brother has since had a slow recovery, but he is a strong kid with a big heart. he is almost back to normal now, and has impressed all the doctors. the money people donated out of the kindness of their hearts made all the difference. Trust me, everyone, when i say that every little bit helps. I am very impressed with the turn out thus far, and it has raised the level of my pride and thankfulness for being in a brotherhood as great as this. As far as i am concerned, Ted, nor anyone else, need not thank me, as it is I who am the lucky one for being a part of such an exceptional group of people as this. It is I who should thank Ted and Bubba for reminding me what is truely important in life, and renewing my faith in the power of a few goodhearted men and women. you guys and girls are the greatest. Get better soon Ted, we all have faith in you and are behind you all the way. "All that in necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." |

anon I was thankful then and I am thankful now. Ted is thankful too. Now if me and my friends would have better luck you'd have a little more in your savings account or beer budget whatever. and trust me your money is better spent this time than it was last time from the big fat guy in the last row |

Hey! I ended up in a ditch in Texas and let me say that Dawg was the first one to run up to me and try to cut my pants off! (Thanks Dawg; I knew you cared ). Blake's right about the ants, though. My friend EvilJay told me later that he found a chunk of my knee but didn't give it to me 'cause the ants had already gotten to it... heres so more from the day thats teds bike right there in the lower corner I just got off the phone with TED and his spirits are real good and he doesn't sound as drugged up. he said he finally got the nurses on his schedule. he is calling the rehab center that he will be going to as "club Ted"...he says to me , it will be like a vaction, they got a pool there and everything. I said yeah thats gonna be the hardest freakin vaction ever. He told me to thank everyone for the out pouring of support and help he is just over whelmed by it all. He said when sept gets here and we have the buell rally down here for the running of the ridge he wants to see everyone. So it looks like one of the days the routes have changed to head to old fort. which is 20 east of asheville. he says you think they would come see me. I said hell if they don't ol bubba's gonna get all loud and obnoxious and call them big ol sissy's. his spirit is good. plus when he gets down there he will have internet access so he will beable to talk to us. I am sure he will be tired from the rehab most of the time but this will be good for his spirits. anyway everyone take care and we are still short about 1K in the ted fund of our intial goal. Big thanks to FTD and Justin, and everyone else that has contributed so far. We are doing a good thing for a great guy. And the karmic payback will come to us all one day. Take care I am my brothers keeper

Bubba, my check's in the mail. It ain't nearly as much as I'd like to give, but I'm out of work and I blew a bundle going to Daytona. Hopefully, we'll hit the goal. I just came up with another idea for a humorous e-mail to Ted, so I'd better send it off while I'm thinking about it. |

First of all - Thanks to Bubba and everyone else who have been keeping everyone posted on Ted's progress. Next, thanks for the link for the Paypal, it makes a hard thing easier. Suggestion - make sure link is in each set of posts after they've been archived to keep it easily available.
