Has anyone else see this, my drive belt seems to not be running true and straight. The belt hits the lower guard on the outer edge of the belt for about half of a revolution then the inside will touch. It has left the edge of the belt fuzzy looking by fraying the cord in the belt. It is at the shop now and a call is into "the company" for support. They have not received an answer yet, but I thought I would see if anyone else has seen this. |

Yep been there done that. Clip the threads, bend or space the belt guards to keep them from rubbing. 25,000 miles later, no problem. Neil S. |

Yea, take a look at the inside of your belt guards, in particualr the top one: $10 says they are getting ground down -- you can see the belt path. I have a hypothesis this is what is causing some belt breaks. Under light downshift loads, the belt is relatively loose up there, flops around a bit, and SNAGS on the guard... |
