Jon: $500 was a wild guess. Someone, and my aging memory may be going, said something about a company that shows up with a metal pallet, rolls the bike on a transports it that way. I'll see if I can find more. Court |

good thing i didn't get my hopes up on this last night and book a flight! 6 a.m. flight out of manchester NH to MKE on July 30th $112.00 would've been a cool little adventure. oh well better luck next time....the search for an S2 continues! (Message edited by ustorque on July 08, 2009) |

Shane, there will be others my friend. Stay sharp and you will find one. It took me a while and I had 4 slip through my fingers. On one I was the high bidder but did not meet the reserve so I emailed the guy and told him I would pay his reserve but he never emailed back. It was a Quicksilver S2T. He must of sold it locally I guess. I am glad because the one I got is perfect. Hang in there. If Jon got it then I am sure it is going to a good home. Just to rub it in. I rode the 96 S2T to work yesterday and the 95 S2 today. A difference between night and day. Frank |

Jon, You suck. I "need" an S2T to keep my S2 company (my wife disagrees). You might try UShip: http://www.uship.com/ I had a bike shipped from Bakersfield, California to Austin, Texas for about $500. HellBuelly J p.s. Congratulations! You're gonna love it! |

I can't wait to hear your impressions? Have you spent any time on an S2? It's an amazing bike! Congratulations . . . you've snagged a gem. Don't miss the chance to meet Wes in the process. |

Court, Looks like meeting Wes will have to wait. But I will look forward to meeting him when I travel out to the Mother Ship at some point. I have never been on an S2, but I rode an S3 for about 20 miles. I will learn of the bike's ETA very soon. The S2T will likely replace my BMW 1100rt, so I will be a 2 Buell man. And I am most pleased to be buying from someone like Wes, who has a stellar testimony with folks out here as well as with you and others. Can't wait! |

>>>I have never been on an S2, but I rode an S3 for about 20 miles. There are almost ZERO common parts in the two and they ride 100% differently. You'll love it. |

i still have yet to hear from Wes in response to my email. I don't doubt that it's sold, just seems strange that he did not respond. Good luck with the bike Jon, she's a beauty! |

Enjoy the S2. You don't ride it as much as you have a discussion with it every time you're on the road. You're gonna love it. |
