Wow, after that ballsy inside pass on Hacking, Danny jammed the throttle and threw the front wheel in the air. Had to bring it down and finish the race. Great last lap and win! GO BUELL!!! |

I've got this weekend 4 races on my DVR. I can get them off there, and burn them to DVD, but it will take me a week or two. |

You can watch the last lap of the 2nd DSB race here: http://www.speedtv.com/video/popup/29997388001 (cross-posted from the 1125R forum; thanks Palmer!) |

Thanks for the link! I watched it last night on SpeedHD but I didn't remember the last lap...must have fallen asleep. The TT practice run on DiscoveryHD was freakin unbelevable...lots hi-res slow-motion shots, and the helicopter shots were just stunning. |

WOW . . . Danny Eslick has TOTAL COMMAND of his Buell 1125R. That's the type of racing I haven't seen since the Scotty Parker and Chris Carr last laps at Sacramento and Springfield. What a ride. Congratulations to Danny . . . Buell came up with the bike but it takes that kind of impressive talent to win. |

"That's the type of racing I haven't seen since the Scotty Parker and Chris Carr last laps at Sacramento and Springfield." Parker may be gone, but that type of racing can still be seen at Springfield. He was a heck of a guy to watch, and a fans racer for sure. Seen many good racers there that no longer race or are no longer with us. What a track. Will be there Labor Day weekend. |

Holy cr**! That was an amazing race. Anyone whining about AMA not having good racing is absolutely full of it. |

>>> Anyone whining about AMA not having good racing is absolutely full of it. The whining of the small thinkers has quickly been drowned out by the cheers of the dreamers. What an amazing accomplishment across the board from the folks who designed and built the 1125R all the way to Danny who logged what can only be described as a classic hard fought motorcycle battle. I enjoyed not only the win but seeing someone who WANTED to win that bad. It's the stuff true champions are made of. Incredible. |

Shades of what Rossi has done to countless competitors over the years. Simply put: and overwhelming desire to win. Eslick demonstrated it on that last lap. |

If anyone has Speed "rebroadcast" times, I didn't realize they were televising both the first and second race sets, and I didn't get the chance to set the DVR for the second two... |

Hacking looks to have come out of the corner on to the straight much faster than Eslick. Did Eslick pull Hacking on that last straight with Horsepower, or did Hacking miss a gear? I was confused by Elick's comments. |

A few of us BadWebbers were standing on that hill and saw that pass. We had a perfect view. Incredible! That was one of the best races I have ever seen. Perhaps we will see Eslick in American Superbike on an 1125RR soon?? I hope he is riding on Buells for a long time... |

Spatten, Eslick said he missed a gear and caught a false neutral and that is partly why hacking was able to pull a wide gap on him before the last lap. |
