I'm trying to remove the stock muffler on my '09 CR and I'm having a little trouble. I've been able to easily get all the other mounting bolts out, but the left side (clutch lever side) bolt connecting the front of the muffler to the oil cooler is proving very difficult because I can't seem to get a wrench on the nut. Is there a trick to this bolt? Do I need to loosen or remove the oil cooler?

Thank you in advance.

John

From what I have been told by Zac, he had to bend a "box-end" wrench 90deg to access and hold that nut.

Thank you - I ended up getting it off yesterday with a fair amount of head scratching, swearing, and repositioning of things! I didn't have to bend any tools, either!
