Caught the local News this AM and heard about a 61 yr. old man killed, passenger with critical Injuries after someone tuned left into their path. And at bottom of News Page in the Comments Section, some rotten F@%k talking about most Motorcycle Accidents being riders @ fault, then relating past News reports of other Accidents and speaking about Points and double points for this accident and that accident. Deaths mean so little to people that they could put such things out for Horrified Families of this to see. Syracuse.com is the Website. Same senerio yesterday in Colorado Springs, Colorado killing a off-duty police officer on his bike. Sucks. That same thing happened to me 35 years ago putting me in the hospital for weeks and a broken leg that has never been the same. |

The guy I was referring to as posting those posts mentioned a cop having an accident on His own motorcycle and hitting another motorcycle. He made them sound as if it was FUNNY. (Message edited by roadcouch98 on July 14, 2009) |

syracuse.com is THE Central NY hang-out for trolls and sociopaths with nothing but time on their hands. As a credible news source or informed and intelligent opinion forum, it ranks somewhere between supermarket tabloids and MAD magazine. |

I won't read the story, because I've heard it way too many times, sad. Injury update: My friend Dave is doing ok after his left-turn-in-front-of-him accident. Medicare, food stamps, permanent disability SSI, one leg now inches shorter, orthopedic shoe needs to get ordered, lost job, lost daughter (custody). At least he can feel his toes when he hobbles around. 6-months after. WATCH THEIR WHEELS, WATCH THEIR EYES, WATCH YOUR SPEED, DON'T START RIDING MOTORCYCLES ON A BIG POWERFUL BIKE WITH POOR BREAKS (CHOPPER), ATGATT OR GODSPEED! |
