I have a friend that has a 2000 X1... I let him borrow my ECM Spy cable and hilarity (Or not so funny...) ensued. He's lost his stock maps and somehow ended up with a bad burn. This effectively bricked his ECM, and it appears that the map he burned is somehow corrupt as we get the same thing every time. Can someone PLEASE e-mail me a stock X1 map at MyBadWebhandle@Gmail.com? Thanks in advance. |

I've got stock race maps pulled from my '02 X1. I'll send them soon as I get back home and have access to the comp. If you want the STOCK stock maps then I'm afraid I can't help. |

I think if we can get any decent map we should have a better place to start than we have now . Thanks a ton. |

It's in the first post . Replace the "MyBadWebhandle" part with "M1Combat". |

You are better off with the Race Maps anyway. |

woops, should have noticed that. anyway, I sent the files. You've got race fuel maps as well as the entire race eprom. I don't know if fuel maps are the only difference between the race ecm and stock ecm, but just in case I suggest burning the eprom, not just the fuel maps. Rev limit and timing settings may be slightly different between the stock and race eproms, but I'm not 100% sure. |

I have some maps from stock and race ecms. Send me a pm and I'll get you a copy of the stock map or which ever you want. I've been trying to make a library of all the different year maps that are available. |

Td, I'd like to have a copy of the stock eprom if you don't mind. pkforbes87@hotmail.com (Message edited by pkforbes87 on July 15, 2009) |

Under "normal" circumstances you do not need to burn the EEPROM when you change the maps. Just burn the maps. Now if you really wiped out your stock EEPROM altogether, that is a different story. BTW, the fuel and timing maps are in the same file. The "Other Maps" and "EEPROM Config" settings go with the EEPROM burn. |
