I think I'm going to start a "jokes about yo Mama" thread, and see how well it goes over. All in good fun. I guess you can find anything you are looking for in my Majestic State, including something to amuse your pitifully boring lives! Have at it, I know what I have. |

Hex, California is a great place being screwed up by its government. No question it is one of the nicest places in the world to live. Also no question its legislators can't find their arses with both hands, but can find your wallet with both brain cells tied behind their backs. |

All in good fun. Yes, I want to ride Highway 50 out your way from Colorado to California. I keep breaking down in Utah. Maybe some day. |

Thinking about the cost of living comment still, reminding you that we rarely turn on our home heat or AC. Honestly, one or the other is used at most once a month on average. And what else do I have, well on our humble .75 suburban home lot, we have planted nearly 30 fruit trees. Apricot harvest was today, I picked 1/3 of the fruit from just one tree:
And here is our garden with 20 tomato plants:
...and a sampling of our other fruit trees in various stages of harvest, all photos taken today:
Apple.
Apricot.
Asian Pear.
Kumquat.
Lemon.
Navel Orange.
Pear.
Persimmon.
Plum.
Pomegranate. So, maybe you get your prejudice about us all being a bunch of fruits, from your jealousy that we can grow all our own. All in good fun of course. |

somewhere a.) brain is in a jar at county. b.) body being driven around LA pending decision about taking it to London for display. I had a place in Marina del Rey till 1995 and loved it. I lived in Kansas and flew there on Friday's for a couple years. Incredibly relaxing |

My sister told me this one yesterday, its going around the bars in San Francisco where she works, all in good fun, it made me laugh, RIP Michael and Farrah: Ferrah Faucett arrives at the Pearly Gates and graciously greats St. Peter... St. Peter: "Oh Ferrah, you have suffered much, and your talent will be remembered for eternity on Earth. I really enjoyed you in "Charlies Angles" and your smile in that bathing suit photograph truly brought joy and peace to the world. Is there any last request that I can bless you with before you meet your God in Heaven?" Ferrah: "I'd just like to save the children of the world." St. Peter: "Done!" |

Only problem with that one is that she will be forgotten fast. Nobody under 30 knew who she was, including me, and in a few weeks most of us will forget her again. MJ was a legend, and is known world wide. I know who the Beatles and Elvis are. |

it truly is a generation thing because I never bought into Michael Jackson being the king of pop after growin-up listening to the Beatles, They were and still are the greatest band of all time. I'm not trying to take anything away from Michael Jackson but he was never to music what the Beatles are! And Farrah was for that one season on tv the brightest star because of her smile, great body, and beautiful hair. I will certainly never ever forget her! |

Iam an Xer and am amazed at the Beatles. Still today listening to sgt. peppers, rubber soul or the white album, it is timeless and in its own category. Its doesnt sound like its from the music of that time period. MJ was unique but doesnt need his own US stamp or recognition from the house of representatives. I agree about the Beatles, and so did Michael. Best band yet. A lot of his costumes were based on the Sargent Peppers military band theme, and his allegiance with Paul, and ownership of their collection, etc. How much tax revenue did Michael produce for the USA in his lifetime? Maybe he does deserve a little something... |

Michael had a great producer and friend, Quincy Jones. The "Q" mastered some GREAT stuff. His dad 'jacked his azz/mind at an early age. Lay aside blame, rest his soul. I used to couples skate to his music. |
