Anyway here is my review of the Buell Uly for female readers. http://www.womenridersnow.com/PublicFiles/Departme ntViewer.asp?ArticleID=1265 |

Excellent article. I think you're the first woman I've seen who actually rides an X! My gf is scared of the Uly's height. Very nice job. |

Nice review. Try riding a 06 with a standard seat with a 28 inch inseam. I can't touch without scooting my butt. |

Kath: What are we supposed to call you now that the hand of fame has touched you? Well written, I enjoyed reading it and just wish I could ride my Uly as well as you do yours! Court |

Thanks guys I get to meet the editor of WRN next month in Colorado maybe I can write more for her. I'm hoping safety and bike stuff. Court, I don't know about that... I see years of experience in them BOOTS of yours I've alway placed my riding skills in the middle of the pack and always tell my students "there will be riders better or worse than you." Stay in the middle and you will do fine. Diesel, I don't think I would even look at a Uly if I was under 30 inch inseam Wow! I scoot my butt off to get flat footed with one foot if the camber is off on the road. I did a little piece on spare tire speeders I hope WRN puts it up we'll see. K |

No problems with seat height, I just have to be careful when coming to a stop and make sure I have the proper footing. Suprisingly the uly with the 180 tire is very easy to balance without touching, I am sure Buell's weight distribution has something to do with it also. I tried the 06 low seat and wasn't a big fan of it. |

I agree with you I feel I ride better on the Uly than I do on the City Cross. they're completely opposite of each other. The City cross is easy to do tight spaces because of the short wheel base the Uly is too because of the stability I feel from it. I like teaching better on the Uly than I do on the city cross the advanced MC classes, the Uly is not a s quirky. And the old X1 is a league all by itself. |
