Nice pics--where were they taken? How do you like that bracket with your windshield? Any buffeting or other odd handling effects? I caught two yellowjackets this past weekend--one flew up under my chinbar onto the inside of my visor (freaky), and the other tagged me twice on the side of the neck (painful). I think it may be time to raise the shield on my XT. |

That was Deal's Gap, was there last Saturday (July 18). I really like that bracket. It's the Palmer Toolless Bracket from http://palmerproducts.auto.officelive.com/buellxb1 2x.aspx It really catches bugs well! And it reduces buffeting significantly. Plus I can clean my shield without having to get out my tool kit. He's got it in black powder coat now also (darn him...). |

Did you get the medium shield, Rwven? I'm thinking of purchasing one too, but can't decide between the medium or large? That's the problem with on-line shopping! All the guess work! |

I kept my stock XT shield. The position I found that works best for me is in the top slot hieghtwise and the center slot anglewise. Takes the pressure off my chest without a lot of buffeting at the helmet. |

Nice Pics, we should get together some time, you are in my neck of the woods. The Mirrors are Aprilla Tuono Mirrors from American Sportbike $40 each. I have the same ones, they should really be stock. |
