Whats the best thing to do if your riding and all of a sudden your clutch lever breaks? |

been there. not fun, but rode home. getting into neutral was tough. A few times I had to push after a stop to get her rolling then kick it into gear. Not as bad as I thought it would be. |

I rode with no clutch for a few days after the cable snapped. You get the hang of it. |

Carefully match engine speed to road speed and use gentle pressure on your shifter while you accelerate or decelerate and the shifter will go when the speeds are right. Be especially careful on down shifts, those can make a mess of your trans. As Ceejay said, neutral can be a pain to find. |

Thanks guys. I had an aftermarket clutch lever break while I was at work. My only option was to tig weld it but our tig welder sucks with aluminum and while I got a nice blob holding it together I dont trust it. I made it home but was trying to prepare myself for it snapping. |
