Was "seams" a joke? Usually the 8" zipper works to join both. Hard to figure out your question but if it's any help I went with the longer one because the jacket works like suspenders. |

Iamarchangel, Uh, yea, that's the ticket. It was a joke. Not really, I slipped up. I knew that too many Tees comment would come back to roostt. I know that any zipper can be sewn in. "What mesh pants would look right with the Buell mesh jacket"? It would have to come in one of the sizes I listed. 38x32 or 38x31 Apologies for the confusion. |

You guys are a bunch of wussies. If you can't take the heat then leave the bike in the garage and drive your A/C cage! I commute in 110 F weather in Central California and been through Death Valley a few times in the summer while I wear full Cortech riding gear (pants and 3/4 jacket) and riding boots. And yes, commute as in 30 mph and traffic lights... Been on the ground 3 times in my 16 years of riding. All 3 were surprises and each time I got back up and rode away, uninjured. I would have NEVER been able to ride away if I was wearing jeans... Sorry, but you don't get to change clothes when you go down. |

You guys in Cali don't have humidity like we do in the south... High Heat and Humidity is a double whammy... |

Yeah, visited Cali a few times. 100' out there is like a pleasant Spring day in N. Georgia. Humidity is a bitch. It's been high 80's - low 90's and MUGGY the past 2 weeks. And my bike is out of comission until I can get my new back tire installed (should be this afternoon!). ~SM |

I've spent my time in Kansas and PN. I'd rather have a 100F/90% than a 115 anyday... while the humidity is uncomfortable, the sun actually hurts! Riders who don't wear gear cause it's too warm are still wussies... |

I like the tourmaster gear. They have a 3 piece textile jacket (intake series) and textile pant (flex series). I think it's called agua-therm. It's year-round gear. True, it doesn't have all the nifty little pockets like joe rocket but that's not really what it's about, or is it.......? |

Usually the 8" zipper works to join both No, the 8" zippers don't all match up to each other. Joe Rocket & I think Teknic zippers go one direction, and Tour Master/Cortech, and I THINK FirstGear go the other direction. |

somebody posted somewhere, and I can't find it, or any way to verify that the Buell mesh is a Joe Rocket. So, Joe Rocket mesh. I have them, they are good. You don't have to take your boots off to change them like the Adventure pants which I also have (and feel a bit safer in). |
