Ok, here's the tracklog. Same deal as always: you can't post Google Earth files on Badweb, so right-click & download the following file, rename it as ".kmz", then open in Google Earth. If you don't have Google Earth, go get it (it's free). The track will show the entire ride from today and you can even play the whole thing back as an animation. Enjoy. And my attempts at Froggy-style action photos were, well, less than noteworthy:
I'll work on it. I think the trick is to not be on the back of a thumping V-twin. Maybe I'll trade the Uly in on a Goldwing trike. |

Cool pics. Another great NEBO day! I'm so tempted to buy one of these: http://www.vholdr.com/contourhd/overview Here is cool Buell video taken with the above camcorder. It was taken by Nitto12s over on Buelletinboard. Some damn nice twisties! http://www.vholdr.com/node/33146 |

Something new followed me home Friday.....might be why the skies opened up and let the sun shine through.... Nope it was not a Buell,
... So Relax & don't Panic! 2009 CBR 600RR
Looked at the 1125R/CR's and they seemed to be a bit heavy to turn in the corners.....even after adjusting the fork clickers... Tried the 1000RR and it was OMFG Fast....To Fast! 96 in 1st gear with room for more.....Handcuffs & a body bag would be in the future for me on that bike..... Then this bike one me over, Good low/mid range grunt with the flick ability on par with my Buell, if not better. Dare I say maybe even easier to turn in..... Some suspension work will put this in the lead I am sure. time will tell... |

Nault's Honda in N.H..... They tried the "tough guy" salesman pitch,(barely) I simply told them my best deal I could find & they worked with me OVER THE PHONE, none of that "come in and we will work a price out for you" crap. My best price I could find was 7999.00 OTD but was in N.Y.... I paid 8226.00 or something stupid like that, (they only wanted 8500.00 at first, but they did budge some to make the sale) BUT I did not have to travel 3+ hours each way on a Holiday Weekend. Worth it to me. I could have saved some cash but I did not want to travel on Friday, and I wanted a bike right then and there. I was pushing to get an 1125R but after trying it and then the Honda, This bike was better for what I needed it for. Now to build a V-Twin Next~ |

o.k. boys just checkin interest on this one. the wife has informed me she's takin the kids away for a week and she'll be gone the weekend of the 31st. Being the wonderful woman she is, she mentioned that if i wanted to invite the group up for a night or two of debauchery and riding that this would be the weekend to do it. sound good to anyone? beer, food, bonfires, and bikes? |

Nice look'n Honda. I've always been a big fan of their products. I grew up on Honda dirt bikes. I beat the piss out of them and just couldn't break'm. I almost bought a cbr600 back on 05 but bought the Buell instead. I'm sure you will enjoy it. |

You cant go wrong with a honda! They are even about to release a jet. Very unconventional but kinda neat looking, different than most aicraft. That reflector is bright! |

working on one's motorcycle is not nearly as fun as riding it. hopefully this will just make our relationship more intimate. |

Working on one's bike is fun, and sometimes more fulfilling than riding. But working on it during nice weather sucks donkey balls. |

Working on your bike is a lot of fun except for when you are scrambling to figure out a problem last minute between practice and your race. Pretty much whenever time is an issue, the work sucks. |

Time is always an issue when you're remodeling the only bathroom in the house on top of working full time. But, I'm happy to only have this to gripe about right now! Luckily this thing isn't too hard to tear apart. |
