I fished this up a couple months ago but I never got around to posting the pictures. It took the better part of a Saturday from start to finish but I'm very happy with the finished product, especially with the new carbon fiber hugger and new mirrors.

For reference, this is the 'before' picture:




And these are the 'after' pictures:








I relocated the plate directly below the taillight and used the lens from an M2 to illuminate the plate. I cut away the excess plate bracket and then had to cut the truck tray to match.








Then I epoxied a new plate to the end of the trunk:






I used steel brackets to affix the plate. I picked up the taillight bolts to mount the steel bracket to the tail.




And this is the final assembly with the turn signals installed:

Nice job. I've been slicing fenders off bikes since 1994. Most people wouldn't think to fix the box.

Thanks for the compliments. Other than an exacto knife, dremel and epoxy, it doesn't require more than a few hours of work and some careful measuring. It was actually quite a bit simpler than I expected and it reassembled right up. It would be pretty easy to duplicate if anyone was interested.
