Like some others here I tire of reading about problems. In the two weeks i was in jax following the purchase of my 1125r i had 753 trouble free miles. Loved every single one of them. Can't hardly wait to get back to it. Won't be for another 101 days from today. then I get another 10 days with her. | ||

They are great bikes. Some come off the line perfect and some will have problems. With just 753 miles on your you still dont know. Give it time and enjoy riding. If you tire of reading about peoples problems then stop reading about them. But in the future if you have something go wrong you can look here and see what other people did to fix the issue. Thats the whole point about posting the problems with your bike. So others can help you and all can learn. | ||

Its a Superb bike, it loves twisties and eats straights. I like the Siletz river HWY in western OR, a road I have been drivin' for many decades fishing for the Steelhead. Secrets of the bikes abilities (and mine) have been revealed recently while negotiating some of the HWY's diverse sets of twisties. Since the 1125r has such a broad, linear powerband I found a great use for that on these twisty sections. Tighter sections I use second gear and use the entire rev range. The lower gear selection can also be used for engine breaking entering the next corner giving you less shifting down and front breaking. When the next section opens up a little with more distance between the corners just select the next gear and use all its rev range. The enormous engine breaking is a big advantage with this bike as well as the broad rev range. You will quickly find yourself moving all over this bike like a pro,,, and every rocket launch off the corner will just fill you with glee to get to the next one. Did 150 fun miles today, somehow missing the rain. Stopped at my Ducati dealer and he set the sag on the suspension. Headed west in NH, looped back into MA, roads were pretty empty. What a great bike. Gets better all the time. | ||

Just returned from Ride. Little over 5k and machine seems better with each mile. Still a problem with speed control but heard is all in the wrist; working on that.... | ||
