Hey everyone, its true. Once you get one of these, you either fall in love or you hate them. I had an XB12SS and got rid of it because at the time I felt like I needed more motor, and I've been missing it ever since. At the moment I'm riding a nice 1997 TL1000S which has 99% of the bugs worked out. The only quirk being that it is cold blooded and prefers to keep the fast idle lever on until the engine hits about 180 F. It has bolt on pipes, a handlebar conversion (though I have clip ons for it as well), a PC II, a K&N filter and its red in color. I can provide pictures and much more detail to anyone who'd like to know. If anyone is interested in swapping an XB or a Tuber for it contact me here or by phone 802 310 6832. I'm in CT. Joe |
