...at the track!! did my second ever track day today, and the second session out this morning, i passed 10k miles. what better way to celebrate my bike than on the track???!!! (and i was the sole buell representative at the track today also!) its disgusting how much attention my 1125 gets in a sea of jap bikes! i LOVE IT now just if i knew how to ride a motorcycle... then maybe i could impress people that way also! ... one day. |

Just keep doing track days and you will get there, sooner than you think. Even if the 1125 is a bit much to handle at first, as long as you respect and move up your skills slowly, you'll be amazed at how you progress. And how you'll be able to ride on the street with plenty of safety margin. I'm an ex-racer, but I am dying to get in some track days; I know my skills are not keen anymore and I don't want to sharpen them on the street! |

Awesome report! ...HOWEVER... The ONLY person you have to impress is the one under your helmet. Track riding is a great, controlled way to sharpen skills. |

Congratulations!! When I started riding my 1125 on track, I stripped it and kept it there. True I realize how powerful it is, but over time I've learned to really appreciate that controllable power. There's nothing like having control of the rear wheel spin coming out of corners. But like most everyone else, we constantly need more track time. Good luck and keep us posted! |
