Greetings, I have been enjoying this site for a while as an observer, and recently registered. Great site! Trying to get some photos of my S1W and new motor posted... we'll see edited by blake on February 21, 2004 |

Ok, that wasn't so difficult after all. Lot's of homework to do yet before the motor install, but I am really pumped. Anyone out there crammed the 100" into a Buell?

Yeah, that's my 72 CL450, it has a 68 CB450 gas tank that makes it look a lot better. It looks better in the picture than it really is. I am planning a complete restoration.

Tripp, I haven't been able to ride with the new seat yet (damn snow). It feels about the same height in front as the original but the passenger area is higher. I'll let you know how it is after the snow is gone. |

Looks good Aesquire, I am currently trying to put together enough parts to put an S3 fairing on my M2 also. I have almost everything except the headlamp assembly and related hardware. |

Ok, so its not a Buell, but it was fun! We rode around the ice at the Waterloo Blackhawks hockey game throwing t-shirts. This picture was taken just after spinning a donut. I didnt know the camera was there, but I was looking right at it. Picture was found at www.waterlooblackhawks.com Craig Buell Cycle Center

Craig...That is a really neat pic an a good promotional opportunity. Now for your personal files, I would suggest "Photoshopping Out" the side car and really blow some minds! LOL |

1320, I noticed the 'Wilwert's' on that bike... Are you in Dubuque? If so, I'd love to see that in person! Shoot me an email. Alex |

I bought my M2 from Wilwerts... Drove from Milwaukee because they gave me such a good deal. That was still at the old Dealership. |

I live near Bristol,TN...Clay Wilwert is a friend and my major racing sponsor...Wilwert's is a great dealership and the NEW dealership building is awesome!! Over 50,000sq.ft. and lots of Buells and other goodies....Also, Clay is a good racer in his own right.... |

My M2 also came from Wilwerts, at the old shop. I'm in Dubuque with a co-op job at the John Deere Dubuque Works. I will agree that the new dealership is awesome, just wish they had a way to get more people around here to ride Buells. This town seems tried and true on their Harleys and little else. Most of the events I go to there, I am the only Buell. When Dave, Craig, Mike, Ralph, James Provo and I were there on the way up to East Troy this summer, people were amazed at seeing one Buell parked in front of the dealership, much less the 5 others parked behind the HD traveling museum. Guess it's something about the town. I'll have to meet Clay sometime. Alex |

Mbsween, Oct 5 2003, after a long ride w/out a bath. I don't have a shot that shows off the Wileyco yet. I did start it up (yeah, I know that's bad) last week & watched it dance backwards across the garage floor. When I turned to take it "just once" around the block, the snow had begun. Again. edited by aesquire on February 24, 2004 |

My wife and I were in Galena/Dubuque last weekend . . . .stopped in the Galena store (looking for boots for my wife and another sit-down on an XB to try it on one more time before wrriting the check) . . . the Galena store lady was nice, although, admittedly, not a scooter sales person . . . .when the standard XBS prooved a little too tall for my wife, the nive lady suggested a VRod (chuckle, some things never change) . .. . shoulda likely stopped in the main store, but time and tides interfered . . . mebbe next time? |

Admin Appeal... Please, please do not post pictures without at least a space between them and also between the picture tag and any text. Even better hit the "Return"/"Enter" key a couple times between the tags and/or text when posting pictures. Without doing so the pics get stacked up side by side and cause the page to go too wide. Even better, center all pictures and their subtitles (see above edited post). Thanks, Blake PS: If you notice after posting that your multiple pictures are all run together, simply click on the little "" (edit icon) in the upper-right area of each post's blocking, and edit accordingly. |
