Hello Guys and Gals, I was gettin ready to leave work while engine was heating up, so i drove off normal speed 3k revs, after a few miles i was reving 3,5k and suddenly the oil light turned on and stated blinking while the engine stalled, i pulled of to a side of the road tried to fire it up ,it didnt fire up, so i turned off waited 30 seconds turned on again, and no oil light on, working fine till home, i did with the ecm spy an the palm and error code check, nothing appeared, i checked the oil level and it was correct. First time it has ever happened. Havent done any tps or afv settings for a long time, and all seemed to be fine. Any ideas?any thing i should check? Thanks, Miguel |

Symptoms you describe seem to be the o2 sensor is bad. But the head temp sensor is also a very likely culprit. They can go bad and still not throw a fault code, and when they do, the engine can run pretty bad. I had a similar issue not long ago and turned out be the O2 sensor. Check how O2 runs in ECMSPY, it's super handy. Also check the AFV regularly. Any fluctuation in AFV tells you whether you are running rich or lean. Bad seals, exhaust leak, cracked header, O2 sensor, etc., This may not be your problem but it’s an idea.... keep us posted on what you find. I hope everything goes well!. Greetings Miguel. |
