I've followed the new oil level recommendations for my 1125R to the letter but I'm still not sure I have it right. For the cold check, I'm showing in the lower 1/3 of the range. But when I check it hot (I'm in FL and it's really hot here today) I'm getting a level half way from the full line to the overfill line. Is that normal? Should I take a few oz out? |

I wouldnt. It always checks different for me between the hot and cold check. I was having such a hard time seeing the oil level on the stick I had to make one out of shiny metal to see where the level was. The cold always checks low for me. |

You are a little full but, check your level a couple more ties to confirm how consistant your oil checking procedure really is. You are maybe 2-4 ozs over but, that should not harm anything. Later Neil S. |
