I was looking over my new to me 1125R closely and I found these two threaded holes with nothing in them. Am I missing something(s)? ac

Nope, you're not missing anything. The 1st hole is for the sidestand cutout switch, which is on the EU models, but not the US models. The 2nd hole is for mounting the GP shift. |

GP Shift? Do I need a race license to order that? I am really going to miss a sidestand switch. I used it religiously on my last bike. ac |

You can buy the switch(~90 bucks IIRC), but it probably won't do anything with a US ECM flash. Ask your dealer to order a GP shift from BMC racing if you want one. Talk to Jamie or Henry, no race license needed. Z |

Some searching (probably could have done that from the start) showed the GP kit at $400. That is quite a chunk of change for what looks like it could be a shifter and a link rod. I need to look at it again and see if I can come up with a pivot position for the shifter. I may try to design one myself. ac |
