Most reasonable in price is the Buell TOuring seat. Since I'm a wuss, and ride 20k miles a year, I opted for a Rick Mayer redo with all sorts of BUTT BLISS! Another alternative is a Spencer modification. BTW r and cr are the same and the 12r seats fit the 1125s. Neil S. | ||

Since you're the only one here with your ass, you're really the only one who can answer that. All you'll get here is someone's "opinion" which may or may not coincide with yours. That out of the way, I am happy with the feel of the Corbin, but I wouldn't recommend one to my worst enemy... | ||

Almost all of my 18.9 k miles were on the Firebolt Select seat. The first twenty or so were on the OEM seat. Happy butt, I have done over 900 miles in 24 hours on that seat. Z | ||

I like my Corbin, but i've heard horror stories about customer service. I haven't tried any other seats so I can't comment on them. One thing I can add is to agree with Bishop - a tight pair of spandex shorts (like bicycle shorts) does WONDERS for long-term comfort. My leather pants fit snugly and do the same thing. With the leathers, I can do 10+ hours in a day and come off the bike pretty much pain free. With just jeans, anything more than a hour (and sometimes less) really gets uncomfortable. | ||

i got a custom touring seat with gel insert for my fat ass. The stock seats suck donkey $%*&. The firebolt touring seat is pretty good option too, but's not enough seat for my big ol butt. Go custom..it'll run you close to $500 (for a good one) & your butt will thank you after a 500 mile plus days. Also i got a custom backrest/anti slip off the bike when on one wheel incorporated into the rear seat cover. Another thing that will help tremendously for comfort is install the uly pegs..gives a bit more legroom. Thanks, pete | ||

I got this genuine Buell seat: Firebolt® Custom Seat 52319-02Y $149.95 .. and really like it. It's thicker and flatter than the stock seat, so you can spread out better, instead of being wedged in one position on the stock seat. | ||

Buell also makes a Deluxe Touring PILLION seat (around $150). The little lady says it's entirely more comfortable than the 2x4 with a nail in it that comes standard. | ||

Hi new guy here love the cr up here in edmonton canada the dealership knows nothing about buells and I was wondering if anyone has the part # for the uly pegs as they say there 3 different ones and none in stock of course thanks | ||

Black Uly pegs(they are stickier than the silver) are: Rider - N0006.1AK MSRP 86.55 Passenger - N0042.1AK MSRP 92.65. Rider pegs have a feeler-nub, passenger is smooth. Check the Buell website for accessories and pix. http://www.buell.com/en_ca/ Prices are probably higher, I have an older catalog here. I recommend them highly, I have a rider set on Loretta in black. FWIW, the silver Uly pegs are 1/2 the price of the black ones. I have not found any issues, wet or dry, with the "stickyness" of the silver pegs. I guess the dual sport riders complained that the treads were not aggressive enough for real dual sport riding. A comparo b/t "s" and the Uly pegs:  Later Neil S. | ||

Another option if you are short on cash is to have your seat redone. You could take it and have more padding added, or changed to a stiffer padding. Reupholstered seats are only like $50 for the shops in my area. (Fort Hood) | ||
