Galen, she's going back together. I have not found the reason for the falure, I believe high sustained speeds could be the cause. Those front forks of yours are rock solid, did a heffer own your S3 before you? Firemanjim, has a swingarm mount block turned up out of your inventory, I could really use one? If you know anyone who would part with one, we'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Stuart. |

No triumph rides for you Galen! Just kidding. Actually, if you ride at mach 3.9, time goes backwards just enough that you can enjoy the previous days ride also. Ha hahahahahaahahahaha GodSpeed Galen, In the Rain Forest, Bob |

Galen, we are always in need of a sweep rider. Bob could possibly hook betty up with a trailer for (any broke bike) you find along the way.You will also be able to see alot of things since you won't be warp speed any more.LOL. in the fog Deb |

I knew I'd catch flack for the sustained high speed comment, but what else could it be. I haven't seen this at our shop before, but I've heard similar situations with Buells especially in Europe. Anytime your riding all day above 5,000rpm in hot weather, your gonna "kill" a Buell motor. We all know what Buells are designed for, and "sustained" high speed aint it. Anyhow, Galens bike is on the mend and we are currently sizing the case bearing on the pinion side. As long as we don't need to order any special sized bearings, she'll be good to go soon. Thanks, Stuart. |

THE WOOD KIDS ROCK!!!!! I got a call from my sweet little Katie last night it went like this... ring ring ring Kim: Hello Katie: Aunt Kim guess what I did today? Kim: Well Ms. Katie I am not sure, lets see.... (before I could even make a guess).... Katie: I got first place in Battletrax today and Kyle got 2nd place. I got a trophy Aunt Kim! Man she has the bug..... we might see her out on the race track soon I hope. How cool would that be to go to Stockton and see Cody and Katie racing together - let me answer that WAY FREAKIN' COOL!!!! Well Mr Cody Wood - Code Red Racer - Had the best time ever this weekend. He was out at McMinnville this weekend practicing both days. He was faster then fast and was awesome. HE is going to be great this season. edited by kimberlie on March 01, 2004 |

Katie showed up at BattleTrax in full moto-gear, ready to rock. (Denise and i have surmised that given the chance she'd probably sleep with her riding gear on ). it took a little coaxing to get Kyle on the course, but once out there it was hard to get him off. they were great to watch, and Katie is a NATURAL on a motorcycle. like FMJ said above, she was embarassing some of the grown-ups on their full-size streetbikes. right on Katie and Kyle and Cody!!! FunJimmy - you got that right double bonus about Ms. Katie Boo Racer Girl. My nephew Kyle will be quite the rider as well..... Plus Triple Bonus, this year my nephew Nick is racing with Cody and riding Cody's back up bike. He is in the photos riding Cody's red bike #81. He is 6 ft tall and wearing Mike's one piece leathers - he is pretty skinny though at only 170 and we laughed and told him if he falls off the stomach (stretched out leather) will probably wrap clear around his body to his ass and provide additional padding for a slide! He is 14 and will be pretty good.... If you see in the photos he has black leathers, black/white/red helmet and red gloves. He needs to work on flexibility though so he can get his knees out there and drag them through the turns resulting in faster corner speed. In one of the photos Cody is directly in front of him coming around the turn and it looks like Nick is riding on the back of his bike. It is pretty funny! http://www.pbase.com/image/26505440 (check it out). The Wood Family is so lucky to have motorcycle as part of our gene pool and we have Mike & Matt's Dad Fred to thank for that! Looking forward to seeing Jim, Eric, Harv and the rest of the locals soon. Kimberlie |

Kimberlie: My mistake, when I first saw the picture, http://www.pbase.com/image/26505440 I just thought Cody was taking his cousin Kyle for a ride to teach him the race line! Too cute. FunJimmy |
