So March 18th I ran over my roommates dog and laid my 1125r over. Only did $1300 worth of damage. Then 3 days later I roll my car and ended up breaking my pelvis in half and fracturing my lower back. Its now been 3 months and after 2.5 months in a wheel chair, my girlfriend breaking up with me, and whats supposed to be 3 more weeks on crutches, I finally picked up my bike! It feels good to feel alive again! | ||

Jtfuller - I know how you feel, I got run over by a pickup truck, while stopped waiting for traffic to clear so I could turn in my driveway.... First ride I went on was on my Road King, with my catheter bag in my saddlebag! | ||

Teach - Thats pretty intense, I would have been on my bike sooner but they wouldn't let me walk. People still tell me I'm crazy to be riding when I have only been walking for a week. I got a text from my newly ex girlfriend telling me that if I was gonna make stupid decisions we couldn't even be friends lol. | ||

I know what you mean. People think I am crazy to ride after what I have been through. How can I leave a love affair I have had for the last 40 years?? Motorcycling is apart of who I am and will continue to be a part of my life. I thank people for their sincere concern, but true friends will understand and continue to be part of my life, as I will theirs.
