Greetings guys,
My Spyke suit is shot and I need to replace it. I'm, 5'-11", 200lbs. and want a high quality suit but I'd like to find one in the $900.00 range or less.
Any thoughts, suggestions or where to buy?
Thanks in advance!!

Try looking for a Teknic Speedstar on closeout. I bought a speedstar on closeout over the winter and am very happy with it so far. The suits do run small so you need to buy one that is a size bigger than you normally wear. I bought a 48 even though I normally wear a 46. It fits good but is a little tight. The suit seems to be built like a tank and weigh's as much as one!. I think I bought it for $800 or so.

Ralph, depending on how you carry your 200 lbs, this one should work:

If you're 200 is mostly in the middle, you should probably keep shopping. This suit is one super nice suit. Thanks, Frank.

Frank,
Thanks for the heads up, that's actually the size I'm looking for.

I am pretty happy with the Fieldsheer suit I have. It is the "Flex" suit, one below their top of the line. MSRP is $799-879. I picked mine up, barely used for $200.

Ebay ... not bad IF you know what size you need. You might budget an additional $250 for alterations if needed.

Think spine protector - a danged good idea - and required by every known race organization.

A cheap Ebay suit isn't a bad way to go - for a first suit - but realize that if you (like me) are not "average" in size, no suit really fits without tailoring... and spine pads are worth buying new.
