Thanks for the good eats R-T. Shannon loved the place even though she got lost leaving before she ever hit blacktop. Little runner also says thanks (the leaves and sticks were quite tasty) I'm sure he will be crappin oak all day. |

Gents, thanks for coming! It was a good time and a beautiful day. Much better that it would have been last weekend! Any excuse for a party, that's my motto... I got distracted and didn't take as many pictures as I should have. I completely neglected the women and the children--fortunately they didn't have to go to the lifeboats! Here's a few that I did get: Texas in February. Note the foul weather gear... Would you take riding lessons from this man? Lafayette, Phillip (Thanks for the pies!) Hootowl Roadrunnr We'll be doing this again. Watch this space. r-t

Thanks again for the excellent grub and your family's hospitality. The trip home had me a bit worried as the clouds were really rolling but I arrived dry. Back to work now. |

Philip, Yeah, my kids had fun too. Thank you for exposing my 9 year old to the fact that there is a passenger seat on my motorcycle. Now I have to buy another helmet. She pestered me for an hour about putting the rear pegs back on. No ranchero parts. It's been a while since I had it. I was able to find the stock scoop type hood on a grand torino and swap it over. It complemented the bullet nose on the 72 very well. I miss that car. RT, Thanks for the food/beer/company. I had a great time. I'm not sure what possessed you to post my ugly mug on an otherwise classy web site, but what's done is done. RR, Nice. It fits him perfectly. Swaddle him in bubble wrap and send him down the road. |

Well actually it's DR. Johns and he wants us all to get one but I think I am leaning more towards a home protection device. |

Well actually I was thinking more along the lines of a 40 or 45 cal. pistol not an assult weapon. I got too much work to do this weekend so riding is out for me. |

How about more details on that AR? Probably out of my price range, but who knows? As for a pistol, I highly recommend Para Ordnance. I have a stainless P14-45 that's just plain incredible. If you want to give it a try let me know and we'll find a range somewhere. I'll bring my 9mm and 357, too. Best home defense round in the world is a 20 ga. with #7 shot. Won't go through 2 layers of sheetrock. Off to Chuck E. Cheese... maybe I should take the gun... |
