Check with Zac4mac at Highcountry Harley, IIRC he had new ones for $250.00 each. |

Looking for the long or short one? I've got one of the longer ones available. It's on a '97 S3 frame that I just purchased. No title and the seller didn't know history of the bike other than it was gutted for a chopper build, so I don't know anything or guarantee anything about the shock. You can have it for $50 + shipping anywhere in CONUS. If you're interested I can take pics. |

Its actually for my M2 so I'm not sure about the length? I was told by a local mechanic that the shock of the S2 or S3 would work for my bike... I will take any pics here on via email if that works as well! Thank you! |

Your mechanic was right - any shock from any other Buell tuber will work as long as it's the proper length for the mounts you have. The bracket that the front of the shock mounts to has two different varieties. I don't have pictures but basically if it drops straight down it's for the long shock. If the mount angles toward the rear of the bike, then it's for the shorter shock. btw the one I have available is the 99-00 Showa. Let me know if you want it.

Pkforbes87, How much do you want for either the external coil shock or the showa (16.5) shock? Do you know if either of these shocks are recalled? Thanks bponejolic |

The only shock I have available is the 16.5" Showa. I just posted the picture to show all of the different shocks that can be found on tubers and what the differences are. The 16.5" shock was recalled. I don't know why, but I know that some people are still using them as long as a mount can be found that allows for the longer shock. I'll sell you the shock I have for $50 + shipping. |

Here are some pics: Like I said, I know nothing and guarantee nothing about this shock. A couple weeks ago I picked up the frame and the random parts that are still attached to it. Got no title and no history of the bike. As you can see it sat outside for a while, and hasn't been cleaned since I got it home. (I'm really not much of a salesman lol) |

I'm still OMW back from homecoming right now. PM me your mailing address and I'll get that shock in the mail soon as I get a chance when I'm back home. my paypal is pkforbes87@hotmail.com Wait to pay until I know how much shipping will be. If you don't mind sending a check then that will work too. That way paypal can't skim their portion off the top If you're mailing a check: Phillip Forbes 4117 Monica Drive Oklahoma City, OK 73115 |
