Brent, thanks and I love the X in your profile too, great looking bike! Sounds nicely hopped up too. You can bet I'll post a pic of the seat here, because my wife could surely care less about such things Doug, you were right on about the baffle. I installed it in my Force Streetfighter pipe tonight (unfortunately I had already ordered one before you tipped me off to the eBay auction) and it does take the edge off without inhibiting that good ol' Force snarl much I took it for a quick ride and it seems to have dropped the sound level down to a comfortable (relatively speaking) level. It's still loud, but not ear-ringing-loud like it was before. Cool, I really didn't want to get rid of the pipe 1320, that doesn't look like your Sportster-based dragster, is this another one you're building or did you re-body it? Very nice looking bodywork! |

Hi Tres..I've been fortunate to be able to race a 2 bike stable for the last couple of seasons...I sold the S2 in my profile and this is the replacement build for this season..97 S1...Airtech Grand Prix bodywork, Trac Dynamics 13in over swingarm with vertical monoshock conversion ala XB..His name is "Bullyboy II". Special Blend will run in Hot Street class and Bullyboy II will campaign in the SEP class. SEP stands for Screamin Eagle Performance Parts... check out www.ahdra.com to get an idea what it's about..from 6 second Nitros to ride in street bikes... |

Tres, thanks for the seat info and thats an awesome looking X1 FTD I like that look (no spoiler), do you have a closeup of the shifter side? Just wonder how the spacers work with no bodywork Nevco Agreed! Kahuna, have you been tested for OCD? Thats an amazing collection of lightnings. I'm jealous.

Frank (Ftd) Awesome X1....I just love the X1's with the American Sport Bike CF tanks accents and undertail. If they had looked like that on the showroom floor, I probably would have bought an X1 instead of my 99S3. But then I'm a sucker for nuke blue/black lightnings...

==I sold the S2 in my profile== Shame it wasn't to me That is a great looking bike too!! You sure do nice builds! Nice bike Al! Ferris, I'm sure there's probably someone closer to you, but this guy (who's local to me) does very nice work: http://www.vinylgraphicsbygreg.com/ I forgot to mention in my post about the Force baffle that the one I got is slightly different than the ones I've seen pictures of. Instead of having louver-type cutouts internally, the sleeve is perforated. I wonder why they changed it. |

Al, Just swap out the black for some of that "hard to find Molten Orange" and you'd have a winner

Oh, and make sure to loosen the brackets holding the headlight and slide 'em down as far as they'll go. I think low looks mean! (just my personal preference) Craig

Ken, The mirrors are from http://www.roadracing.it The indicators are just some aftermarket plastic things that are available in most bike shops over here. |

Here are some pictures of my '98 S3. I've just finished putting her back together. These are some of the mods i've made: - Supertrapp exhaust - K&N Airfilter - Dynojet thunderslide kit - 0.10 oversized cyl with thunderstorm pistons - Heads Flowed by hillbilly motors adjusted to maintain stock compression ratio

Yup, S1s rule. Even M2 and S3 owners must think so if they go as far as to convert their bikes into S1s. |

Bvan your Buell looks mean. Elemental and powerful, in hard way. Looks like the bike a European street thug would ride. The guy who rides that bike, when you see him in leather, outside a dark bar alley you hold your lady tighter and check to see the carry piece you have is secure and is in easy reach ..cause you just know like the bike the owner is a BAD MOFO. |
