??? i dont understand what your explaining....but yes you have to remove the arm piece that holds the end of the cable then put it on the new cable once its threaded into the case, then re attach it to the clutch assembly. |

please proofread before you post, so that others can understand your question. do yourself a favor and search the knowledge vault. there are multiple discussions of your procedure. be prepared to buy new parts if you don't know what you are doing ANYONE WHO WORKS ON THEIR OWN BIKE NEEDS A FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL AND A PARTS MANUAL FOR THEIR SPECIFIC YEAR. TOGETHER THEY COST LESS THAN 1 HOUR OF LABOR CHARGES AT THE DEALERSHIP.... (Message edited by fasted on June 01, 2009) |

Aaron you can look at the S1 manual here on bad web. Slack the cable at the front of the engine, pull the top hat, back off and remove the clutch ramp, remove the adapter from the end of the cable thread out the cable from the primary cover. Verbiage may not be accurate but it's simple, take your time and you should be OK. Joe |
