okay, here's karma coming back to bite me in the ass. when i got my xb9r one of the first things i did was sell off the passenger pegs and brackets on eBay because i didn't expect to ever have a passenger. so tonight at the bar this girl i've talked with a few times tells me how much she wants to wants to ride on the back of the bike, and how she'll go to bike nights, and late night runs, and just generally wants to ride. so obviously i need some pegs. i started looking on eBay. will the lightning pegs work? i sold the allen bolts with the brackets, can i use regular hex bolts? anybody got some pegs and brackets for sale? | ||

They'll work. I did the same as you. I rode for a couple of years before Ann decided to ride again. It shouldn't be hard to find a set for cheap. | ||

I've got a set you can have. Since I put the Ventura rack on the Firebolt and bought the Uly they are not going back on the bike (likely ever). Send me a PM if you're interested. They're off an '03 and have some nicks and 'character' to them, but they're perfectly serviceable. | ||

thanks for the offer and the pointer. darthane offered me a set for the cost of shipping, and i paypal'ed him the money. i'm looking forward to getting them and riding two-up. wareagle, you should sell yours, so the same thing does happen to you. | ||

 They went out yesterday via USPS Priority Mail. I even remembered to put the pegs back on the right way! You will probably get them Tuesday, since Monday is Memorial Day. | ||
