Yesterday, after 30 days, I received a letter of reply from BMC to my letter of 12 concerns about the 1125R. Haven't opened the letter yet, and don't know if the letter will be responsive to my concerns; but thought you all would like to know a reply was received. | ||

Red, Why do you come back? The previous thread exhausted the subject and ended in you moving on to a Honda. I think most of us here congratulated you on your choice and wished you well. It is a thinly veiled ruse to bring the subject up again and to elude that you got a response, but not reveal it. A teaser, as it might be. Just let it go and ride on, my friend. You got a response, good. If it works for you,good. I cant speak for the rest of the crowd here, but I know that BMC does well by their customers (18K miles and counting) If the response resonated with you or not, is irrelevant to a Buell Enthusiast group. I have seen the letter. It reads "HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAH" Erik B. Really Red, You are a true piece of work. I am shocked that BMC would even respond to such garbage. Kudos to BMC for doing so. So you now say it's been 30 days since you sent your letter to BMC. Consider the time it takes for snail mail to get from Australia to America and back again and 30 days is quite acceptable. However.... Below is a post from you on May 4th, meaning you sent the letter in early April? Still no response from Mr. Buell to my letter of early last month. My guess is that you sent the letter 30 days ago as you stated in this thread and initially lied stating that you sent it in early April to add to your dramatics. What gives? You aren't a fabricator on top of every thing else, are you? | ||

That was every bit as much fun as I expected it to be!  No, I'm still a reluctant member of the 1125R owner's club, because the highest off-eBay offer I've had for the R is half of what I paid; so I'll be posting as often as I like about the R until Blake kicks me out. If you're really serious about selling the 1125R Redscuell, why don't you list it in the Motorcycle Trader and the popular online classifieds like Bikesales, Bikepoint and the Tradingpost? All I've seen have been '08 models and asking $16K+(AUD). I'd check it out myself if you weren't a thousand kilometers east. | ||
