I'm an XB guy but I like following the 1125 threads, and I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the HPE exhaust, unless maybe I've just missed it? http://www.hpe-auspuff.de/html/buell_1125r.html |

twin motorcycles has wrote about how fast Ilmberger is. so we know the pipe works well. Julius is fast, and has a lot off experiance on his 1125, he is racing his bike almost 2 years. and he is one hell off a rider. his bike has about 144 rwhp stock engine, Hpe exhaust and tuning trick front end, special swingarm, carbon brakes. but really, pipes don't make bikes fast, riders do all good pipes make about the same amount off top power , with in a 3-6 hp range ( with a stock engine ) with some flowed heads, and the stock exhaust and good tuning about 149 Rwhp, did a mention the stock pipe is pritty good already, difference between the differed pipes is the TQ curve, and faster reving up big power gains, grind some cams, but it the bike will need to idle about 2000-2500 rpm or order some 1200 pistons @ cp, and bore it up. more compression, ( need big radiators, and big headers ) |
