I was curious if Racerxusa (Rob) found this problem? This is so simple of an install that I feel like an idiot when the wires for the right signal came up approx. 2.5" short of the leads on the bike. I actually think the run is slightly shorter than stock,so what changed I don't know. I don't really want to splice unless I have to,which is no problem. Just curious if this was found by anyone else? Thanks. |

Did you try popping loose the tail fairing and loosening/cutting the wire ties that hold the turnsignal leads. I had to do that on my 08 to get the wires to the right spot. Then I used some black zipties to tie everything back in place. |

The "tail tidy" came with jumpers, but I did not need them. I know it is not the same item, but it should be similar as far as the wires are concerned. Mike |

I noticed something when I installed mine: Not only was one too short, but the colors were reversed (R/L) from what the instructions (and common sense) told me to expect! When I ran them seemingly backwards, they were long enough --- and a right turn activated the right signal. |

"but the colors were reversed(R/L)from what the instructions (and common sense)told me to expect!" Marcodesade, that's funny. When I first bolted the lights in place I thought I had put right on the right and left on the left, but the colors of wires didn't match the stock wiring. So I switched them back. I never noticed the wires lengths at the time. Thanks. |

i noticed the mixed up colors but mine fit perfect. I couldn't figure out why the one side was so far forward and under the plastic and the other one was right there in the open. |

Georgehitch17, exactly what I saw. I just coulndn't get them to reach. Thank you all. I appreciate everyone's ideas and help. Now I just have to find time to get back to the bike to finish. |
