However, Bettie and I are packed and ready to roll. Oh yes. Ready. Very Ready. So there ya have it. I was gona ride up to the canal with Bob yesterday, but I wussed out. I'm so ashamed. I got called in to work, and I went. What a crappy wing-man I can be... |

Pre-flight check done. Heading to the wild outback of Canadalia in a few here. I don't really believe all the stories I've heard of the North Country, but there are enough of them that they must be based on something... This expedition is going to answer these question for once and for all. I am equipt with all the latest digital recording gizmos, supplied by National Geographic, and feel certian to establish the true rubric of life forms there. |

Just to report, Galen made it across the border AGAIN! Welcome to Canada EH. It was great to see, Harv, Mark, Shawn & Eric. They all found their way over for a BBQ and some social libations last night. Thanks guys for making the effort to welcome Galen to his second home. Cheers Jimmy |

Bob You think you're fricken mad now! You are going to really be pissed when you hear what you missed. Border Raid is gonna be a much better event this year for all the field research Captain Galen and I did this weekend. BTW, we missed you. Cheers Jimmy |

It was a dark and stormy night, the streets littered with the rotting corpses of cats and dogs as I left for Canadalia. The sky was a twisting miasma of monsterous clouds, hail falling like meterorites, some penetrating my protective gear nearly to my flesh. (It is probably time to invest in a new Our Boy Elroy Hypertex Impervo suit with the new Active Nanotek system) The ride to Canadalia was uneventful, but the border crossing was tense. Everything has gone to Condition Red, and they were expecting the Insurgents to be getting close to setting off one of the stolen Nuc's. I had a few hours in Vancouver befor St. Jimmy got off work, so I went down to GasTown to revel in the hearty underworld activitys available there. Smoke this, drink that, rub here, lick there... lots of the twisted and freakish. All Hail Canadalia! After my vision cleared I found my way to the Fun Jimmy manor, and a hearty welcome from Harv, Shawn, Mark, and of course our host, Fun Jimmy. The tequila Harv mentioned was Sausa (?sp.). Aged 5 years befor it's sold, and then another 10 at casa Jimmy's. A light golden color, with a oak-like finish. Mmmmmmm, savory. We sat talking drinking and smoking, when Jimmy BBQ'd some of the best pork steaks, some of the sweetest corn I've tasted, and the coldest beer in town. About 10 min after they left Sporty Eric smoothed on in riding his green Sporty, and the party started up again! Eric got the last steak, and somehow resisted our attempts to convince him to blow of work Friday, and come with us. How sad... :endtransmission:morewill follow: |

Friday the sun broke over Vancouver into a million sharp and pointy shards as Jimmy and I prept our War Ponies for the comming skirmish. The Mounties had somehow been notified of our plans and had taken the warning to heart. But we were undetered as we started to infiltrate the West Side road. New construction EVERYWHERE was pissin' me off as we reached the go-cart track, and finaly we entered the real outback. Saw a sherrif who didn't see us. Had a Mountie flash his lights at us as he passed going the other way. We decided that at the speeds we were traveling he would have to run at about 200mph to be able to close on us at all. He didn't. We ran some great laps Friday, but they were all eclipsed by the Madness that was Saturday. |

Riggins ... I had lunch in Riggins on Monday, Memorial day. The river was high and the white water was boiling. Tough to keep your eyes on the road with all the beautiful scenery. I hope you took the 2 past Orofino then down through Kamiah/Kooskia/Stites. I can't believe you guys were running around my playground. I need photographic evidence or this didn't happen. Have a safe ride home. |

This is one of the best times of the year to travel the rolling wheat fields of eastern Washington. The wheat fields are all different shades of green and the weather is not too hot. I know of a few fun routes through that area too, but your probably already in the wind by now. Enjoy the journey! |

SPLASH what's that? Is it some sort of wet t-shirt contest? Hey, I might show up for something like that! I still plan on gracing you with my presence at SPLASH. Current chaotic family soap operas will not deter my ambition! I'll be riding the BMWinnebago, maybe I can finish SPLASH without a break down this year. Not sure if Trixie will join me for the ride, depends on how she's feeling. I'm looking forward to riding with all you numskulls once again. |
