Can anyone tell me what a fair price for a dyno tune for a carb'd buell would be? I've gotten one so far. $350-450 is what I was told depending on how close I wanted it. Is that too much or fair? |

My local HD dealer (SLC, UT) charges shop time only for basic dyno run. $80 out the door - tuning can add to that, but not $300-500, more like $150. |

Average price around my area is about $90 an hour. The sign in the service area at the HD shop says $285 for dyno and tune. |

Terry - If I just want a dyno run, they charge straight shop time at $80/hr. If I want to enter the 100 Hp club and get on the brag board, they charge more ($150) for dyno and tune. Even though I made well over 100, I didn't get on the brag board for my 80 bucks - not that I really cared.... |

Thanks guys that price was quoted at a local harley performance shop not a dealer, there is a buell dealer near me with a dyno, I just figured the dealer would be more. |

Thread resurrection here. West Bend H-D in West Bend, WI charges straight time. Did this today and they charged me $37.50 (0.5hrs x $75/hr). The dealer where I bought the bike wanted $98. Even though it is not a Buell dealership, Louie and Junior are great guys. They probably spent all of that half hour with my bike, and then another half hour kickin' tires-n- tellin' lies. Nice guys! |
