Bomber I forgot to tell ya them bars didn't work out and thats to bad because the dark grey ones really made the bike feel good from sitting on it with them on.The brake line wasn't long enough nor were the throttle cables.BUMMER!!!I need to get up to Corse Ducati, they had some bars that may just be the ticket that I seen in the display case at the IMS Show Sunday.Or I'm checking these guys out www.spieglerusa.com

Hey Bomber, pardon my ignorance, but what's a 'bonnie'??? I sat on a Ducati Monster that I really liked and the Triumph Sprint ST felt really good, too..Just a little too tall for me, though.. edited by Hellion_HB on February 09, 2004 |

ignorance is curable, Hell . .. . no need to pardon it! Idiocy, however, if lasts a long, long time . .. . . .. a Bonnie is a Bonniville . . .. . Truimph's 650, twin carb parallel twin m'sicklye of the late 50s, 60s, and early 70's . . . .. is was the bike to lust abfter most when I was comin up . . .. and it was tied for the hairy chested performance bike of it's day (tied with Sporties . . . .there was a day when the sportster ruled!) . .. . Truimph has recreated that bike, with one with working electrics, and oil that stays in the bike . . . . .. think of it as an english Harely Davidson . . . .not great performance by any stretch of the imagination, but a very nice, brand new 30 year old matoros cycle that works right all the time |

Anyone have any information on an upcoming custom cycle show at McCormick Place at the end of the month? Over heard some guys talking about it at the jobsite. I guess there's tons of parts and clothes, leathers etc, for great prices. If I get anymore info myself, I'll post it. Personally, I thought the show this weekend stunk. Too damn crowded, not enough vendors, too much," Textile" clothes, too many videos of guys doing wheelies and crap. Bikes were nice, but they need to open up more of the area. Just my 2 cent. |

I am in the Racine area, I am a member of Brew City and was wondering what days and time were your meetings. I would love to stop in some time. |

Rocket, its the Chicago Supercycle show & parts expo. McCormick place on feb 22nd. Lower level of halls C1 & 2. I think its $13 to get in, & there is a shitload of vendors there. Lots of the usual 1%ers & posers as well. You can get a good deal, but be sure you are up on your prices & what will fit what. The vendors will tell you anything you ask em about will fit your bike..dont trust em. Im going because Im looking for a Milwaukee Iron strutless fender for my bike. Hope I can get it cheaper there, than the $800 it costs direct from the company. |

Well if you want to know, come on down & make a day of it. And dont be so bigoted to think that its all 100% the type of stuff you mentioned. Way too much sterotyping going around. |
