I think I have decided on a 08 1125r brand new.$8968 otd with shipping to me. Before it is shipped I want all the recalls done. What recalls should I let them know about? I don't want them to skip any since my buell dealer will be 4 hours away. Thanks | ||

I am actually buying it from a different dealer ..not a buell dealer. The one I am buying it from said all recalls would be performed before it was shipped. Just wanting to know which ones should be performed. | ||

A non Buell dealer will not be able to do the re-flashes if needed. If I bought it I'd take right in to a Buell dealer and let them look it up. | ||

That is the best price I have seen to date. I'm curious how a Non Buell dealer has a "Brand" new buell??? Not busting balls, I'd like one at that price! | ||

He stated that he bought this 1125r and a few other buells..firebolt,uly from a dealer blow out sale. He deals in mostly used Harleys. He also stated that he would take the 1125r back to the original dealer and have all the recall work done when the bike sold. | ||

I'm in NE PA and here is what I have found so far. Brandon HD/Buell, Brandon Florida $9381 OTD Long Branch HD/Buell, Long Branch New Jersey $10,456 OTD Schoch's HD/Buell, Snydersville Pennsylvania $9751.11 OTD Electric City HD, Scranton PA $9534 OTD I did find an 09 in Washington, DC for $9995 (not OTD) All things being equal I have been allowing for either travel or shipping if the bike is well beyond a reasonable drive. I'm after one as I just sold my Gixxer 1000. I have been to two local dealers and have went as far as getting the finances in order. I'M READY FOR A 1125R! | ||

I just have to add that I got a new '08 1125R too this past Saturday and absolutely LOVE the bike! My wife also got an '09 XB12XT (red) and she likes hers too, but I can't keep thinking about how much fun the 11 is to ride! That's all I want to do right now... and it's been raining pretty much for the past few days. Anyone on the fence... you don't need to be. I like it far more than I thought I was going to! Just do it! Now we have 5 Buells. ...like any two people need 5 bikes! - ...tap a vein! | ||
