That sucks! I had a rash of flats a while back and it just blows. Nothing like seeing something shiny in the rear tire and realizing you are now due for a tire change! |

That's karma telling you to replace the damn tire and stop trying to repair it. |

Do you ride around a construction zone? I know when I got my multiple flats (in both the truck and bike) it was when they were building out adjacent warehouses. Those construction guys aren' real careful about dropping debris wherever they go. It's unfortunate. |

Do you ride around a construction zone? Funny, I was thinking the ghetto. I guess a construction zone is possible, but I'll bet a nail/safety pin combo is more likely to turn up in the ghetto. |

Ive had 3 flats in less than a year - all the rear tire - all before they were due - sucks but oh well - cycle gear warranty is better than none |

Uncanny how it always seems to be the rear tire that gets nailed. I have had 4 holes in my bike tires and not one has been in the front. Think it's cause of how much wider the rear is or that the front tire kicks the sharp object up, then the rear proceeds to run over the sharp point? |

Roofing nails all over the place what with the insurance companies forcing people to replace all the wood shake roofs out here. Got one the day after I put a new rear tire on. And I was pushing the bike from one parking spot to another, not riding even. |
